Mountain & Mind

Raising kids, running businesses, chasing freedom

I’m a homeschooling mom, entrepreneur, horse lover, and nature chaser—equally at home in the mountains or with my toes in the sand. My days are a mix of schooling my kids, training horses, managing our family business, and sneaking in a little yoga when I can.

I believe in raising kids with freedom and intention, building a business that supports our values, and staying grounded—whether it’s on a yoga mat, a horse, or a mountain trail. Life’s busy, beautiful, and a little unconventional… just the way we like it.

Just because you became a mom doesn’t mean you stopped growing. In fact, this might be the most important time to pour into yourself.

Maybe you were raised by a woman who gave you everything—who put her dreams on hold so yours could shine. That sacrifice likely gave you a beautiful start in life. But if you feel that quiet discomfort deep inside—the pull to evolve, to stretch, to reconnect with you—that’s not selfish. That’s a call. And you’re allowed to answer it.

Growth Starts With Habits

Working on yourself isn’t about being perfect. It’s about choosing to care. It starts with how you show up for you, every day:

 Nourish With Intention

Feed your body in a way that gives back. Not to be thinner or smaller—but to have the energy you need to be who you’re called to be.

  • Only eat foods that give you energy, not take it.
  • Skip the sugar crashes—opt for whole food snacks and clean protein. Adding This coffee creamer to my morning routine made such a difference!
  • Add in supplements that support your cycle, sleep, and stress. My Favorite (this is a game changer) Primal Queen Beef Organ Supplement

We don’t have time to not have energy. Your family needs you at full strength—and so do you.

Move Because You’re Alive

Movement isn’t a punishment. It’s how we reconnect with our bodies. Move even when you’re tired—especially then. That’s when it matters most.

Movement creates energy. Not the other way around.

You’re Worth Looking In the Mirror and Liking What You See

Taking care of how you look isn’t vain. It’s powerful. When you feel good in your skin, you show up with presence. Your energy shifts. Your kids notice.

This isn’t about the world’s gaze—it’s about how you feel in your body. That’s what changes everything.

Start Small. Start Now.

Pick one habit to work on this week. Not ten. Just one. Show yourself you can keep promises to you. The momentum will come.

  • Replace soda with sparkling water
  • Stretch every morning
  • Wake up before your kids for 10 minutes of quiet
  • Write one affirmation a day

One shift at a time, you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come.

Your Children Are Watching

When you work on yourself, you’re not taking away from your kids. You’re giving to them. You’re showing them what self-respect looks like. You’re teaching them that they matter too—and that caring for themselves is something to be proud of.

Keep going, Mama. You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
